In GBUS, learning is never limited in a classroom. The program also partners with different external parties e.g. corporate companies, business executives and NGOs, to provide various enrichment events and co-curricular activities to promote students' personal development, teamwork, communications skills, career preparation, leadership capability, and a global mindset.

Global Leadership Forum (GLF) Collaboration Opportunities

Global Leadership Forum (GLF) is an enrichment event within the HKUST Global Business (GBUS) program. It was first incepted in March 2009 with an intention for the GBUS students to meet leaders from the Hong Kong community.

The Forum is held twice a year for these bright young students to provide an ideal platform for them to learn from the keynote speaker and from each other. Joined by the company representatives, faculty members, corporate mentors, we hope our students will be inspired and gain insights from the leader's experience to broaden their exposure of conducting business in the global environment, and to sharpen their critical thinking through informed viewpoints.

If your company would like to have a direct analogue with our students, please contact us.

Global Business Capstone Projects Collaboration Opportunities

Capstone Projects is a credit-bearing course that provide final year students with hands-on, real-world experience. It gives an excellent opportunity for your organization to challenge students with projects that have specific time, budget and design considerations. They allow students to apply their business skills to your organization's challenges. With Capstone Projects, you can be introduced to a group of highly motivated prospective employees. Students can also gain an insight into the operations of your organization and the types of challenges you face.

If your corporation has a specific need and would like to have the assistance of a HKUST Business School’s undergraduate student team, please contact us.

Public Service Projects Collaboration Opportunities

Public Service Project is a credit bearing student-driven service learning course that aims to cultivate our students’ attentiveness and commitment in being a socially responsible citizen through service learning. A student project team will need to integrate their business knowledge and skills with meaningful community services in order to effect positive change in your organization’s need, as well as the community.
